Seborrhoeic keratoses, sometimes called seborrhoeic warts, are common, harmless skin growths that often appear as raised, rough, or waxy patches in shades of brown, black, or tan. They can be safely treated using electrolysis, where a fine probe applies a controlled electrical current to the lesion, allowing it to dry out and gradually fall away as the skin heals.
